We stopped by Buttermilk for breakfast during a busy morning, and it was definitely a popular spot. The restaurant was pretty crowded, which created a lively atmosphere, but it also meant the service was a little slower than we would have liked. Our server was friendly, just stretched a bit thin because of how busy things were. The highlight of the meal was the Cubano sandwich. It was absolutely delicious—crispy, perfectly pressed, loaded with flavorful pork and ham, melty Swiss cheese, pickles, and just the right amount of mustard. Every bite was well balanced, and it’s one of the better Cubanos I’ve had in a long time. Overall, the food was excellent and made the visit worthwhile. If the service had been a little quicker, this easily could have been a five-star experience. Even so, I’d definitely come back, especially to explore more of the menu now that I know the kitchen turns out such quality food.

Good relaxing place to have breakfast. They have fried green tomatoes in July. And they are outstanding. The turkey sausage with Gouda is excellent. The Powerball with whole grain, oats and fresh bananas and blueberries is amazing. Service was great. I will definitely come back here when I have time for breakfast

Stopped here for breakfast while traveling from Iowa to Chicago and it was a great find right off the interstate. The corned beef hash and eggs were excellent, and the breakfast skillet was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Friendly service, generous portions, and a great way to start a road trip. We'll definitely stop again on future travels!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best For: Folks who want excellent, well-executed breakfast staples and a cozy farmhouse vibe Food Quality: The food is extremely strong. Kay declared her bananas bourbon French toast the best she’s ever had — creamy inside with a sauce that earned an “oooh” every bite. Court’s Morning Madam French toast (open-faced croque madame with scrambled eggs and Gruyère) was absolutely wonderful, and he ate every bite. My fried green tomatoes were crispy, well-seasoned, and held up to the highest bar (when it comes to FGT’s I do not play). The coffee is very good — bolder, a touch darker, leave-the-pot-on-the-table breakfast coffee ☕️. So why not a 5 on food? The specialty drinks. I struck out twice on entirely un-sweet drinks (a raspberry fizz float and an iced raspberry matcha), and the cookie butter latte needed a vigorous stir to come back to life. Service & Atmosphere: Our server Suzanne was lovely — warm and friendly, and she swapped out my first drink without missing a beat when I told her it was undrinkable. Black-and-white farmhouse decor with exposed gray pipes and lots of booths (with fabric that helps cut the noise). One caveat: we visited on a rainy morning and got seat

Omg!!! We're here visiting from Michigan dining with our family, and the food gets 5 stars. We had a party of 6, and EVERY meal was astounding!!! The lemon blueberry pancakes were a hit. I had the farm house salad, which was enough for 2 ppl...and the cornbeef hash topped it off. They earned our business...the service was phenomenal, the food was served quickly. Finally, the atmosphere was filled with grest energy and felt inviting. We'll definitely be back!!! Keep up the good work 🥰 The Andersons Michigan
